Theodor-Heuss-Anlage 2 Luisenpark, Mannheim
Amazing Tea! Beautiful design! Great water art and so much fun! Shared a papaya there we found in the schmetterlingshaus! It was beyond delicious and ripe! And who says green houses are not fun these days!
Distinctive, lovingly cared for facility. A gem within the Luisenpark.
The tea is still tingling in my navel today. So good ?
Super nice tea house! Very idyllic, in the middle of Mannheim at the Luisenpark. Entry is free. Definitely worth a visit
Looks very impressive from the outside. A visit was not possible for Covid reasons. Will be made up for sure
I recommend it, although as many attractions are closed, it should be cheaper
A very nice and idyllic place to relax. There is a beautiful tea house with exceptional teas, served with a Chinese tea service. There are also some, let's call it Chinese finger food, small nibbles. Entry is only possible via the Luisenpark and costs accordingly. It would of course be very nice if you had direct access. Currently, only cash payments are possible. The cafe also has a stage, but there were currently no appearances. It is good that you can take a closer look at almost everything. There are even two replicas, Chinese porcelain warriors, on display.
Can be an oasis of calm if man / woman catches the right time ;-)
I was in Chengdu a year ago and was very (!) Surprised to find such a gem in Germany - you can actually drink tea here in a very traditional way. The loose tea is served in a cup and a pot with hot water - just like in China. The dumplings were also very tasty, flavorful and cooked! The facility is beautifully designed and there is plenty of seating inside to linger.
Objection free tea super delicious great service
Beautiful setting if you want to sit down in the garden but the service is quite deplorable, the staff do not speak English and the menu is in German only. Food is ok but nothing incredible.
Very nice and attentive. Recommended if you are in Luisenpark.
Very nicely laid out area of the Mannheim Luisenpark. Introduces you to the world of China.
Beautiful park with lots of great opportunities in the middle of the city of Mannheim. We had a great meal in the Chinese tea house and drank delicious tea and ate cake.
Relaxing, good tea and delicious dumplings. Nice service
Unfortunately everything was closed due to covid19 during my visit.
Great park. Clean, lots of trees, flowers and plants. Sun loungers for visitors, children's playgrounds, just a great place to unwind.
Contrary to the information on the Internet - this tea house is open daily. Here you can enjoy a Chinese green tea after a tour of the beautiful Luisenpark.
Very authentically located in the Luisenpark. Friendly and nice staff. We liked the food and drinks on offer. Gladly again.
Super nice tea house! The tea is delicious and the atmosphere is very calming. Can u. It may take a while until the staff comes to pay.
Wonderful
Ok
Waited almost 45 minutes. Were unable to serve us. Totals disinterested in customers. Won't go there anymore. Apart from the very expensive prices.
Personally, I am not a tea drinker, but the beautiful, authentic and relaxed ambience tempts you to get involved with this hot drink for once.
Good tea and nice location
Slowest service on Earth. After one hour still no drinks or food. I never saw so many people leaving because they weren't able to order or didn't get their order in a reasonable timeframe. We waited though. Eventually we got our order, well partly wrong dish. Food was not worth the time, neither was the price good.
Awesome place to visit...nice experience
Nice place for relax
The worst place to try to get access to.
Very surprised to find such a beautiful Chinese garden (多景園) here built much like a typical temple architecture. I bet many must mistakenly thought this is a place from China if just looking at pictures.
Good construction and nice place...
THE place to relax if you like an Asian style ambience. Very nice, including a small park and a water cave. Great!
Would expect chopsticks and a bit better cooked food but the garden is awesome
The food is good! Musical shows were kept during the summer time! Great way to be closer to that culture!
Nice
It was nice. The service is friendly. The tea and the red bean pastries tasted good.
Very nice spot
Beautiful architecture
Great!!!
It gets 5 stars for beauty. The setting is an exotic oasis in the middle of the already wonderful Luisenpark. The green tea was exquisite and the food was decent. 20 Euro for a two person set including the tea, sweet treats and some shrimp Bao style steamed food.
